There are five scheduled meetings in Britain and Ireland on Monday, with flat fans in for a varied afternoon and evening. They have Ballinrobe, Bath, Chepstow, Bath and Windsor to study, with some tough handicaps to try to solve at the Berkshire venue in particular (and the top Newmarket yards sure to be well represented in the traditionally strong novice/maiden contests).

Chepstow 3.15 (UK time)
Adrian Wintle is a man to be feared when the cash is down, and his consistent handicapper has been found a terrific opening in a very weak looking Class 6 contest at Chepstow on Monday. The prevailing quick ground should suit ideally under Cam Hardie, and this represents a slight drop down in class, with the step back up to seven furlongs in his favour.
Odds: 6.00

Chepstow 3.45 (UK time)
Phil McEntee’s exposed 5-y-o had been running himself towards peak form on the all-weather in recent months, and had excuses at Nottingham last time out back on the turf (lost all chance leaving the stalls). He has a touch of class at this lowly level when the cards fall right, and can give weight and a beating to some inferior rivals under Grace McEntee.
Odds: 5.00
