Monday’s Horse Racing Tips: Leicester, May 29th

Today’s Horse Racing Tips – May 29th
There are six meetings in Britain and Ireland on Bank Holiday Monday, with competitive low grade flat action very much the order of the day at Leicester, Redcar and Windsor. Jumping fans have the cards at Ballinrobe, Cartmel and Huntingdon to get stuck into, with drying ground expected and the emphasis very much on speed.

Today’s Daily Nap
Bobby Kennedy
Leicester 2:30 (UK time)
Denis Coakley’s lightly raced handicapper returned to the fray with a cracking effort in testing conditions at Bath earlier in the month, and the faster ground conditions at Leicester on Monday should suit ideally (one previous career win came on good ground). Regular apprentice rider George Bass is again booked which is a big plus, and the 5-y-o is entitled to strip slightly fitter for that first run since October.

Today’s Value Angle
Creme Chantilly
Leicester 3:05 (UK time)
Michael Bell has a cracking team to go to war with this summer, and his unexposed 3-y-o filly looked one to follow in handicaps after getting off the mark at Chelmsford last October. She proved slightly disappointing at Nottingham on her seasonal reappearance when only fifth in a competitive field (one-paced two out having travelled strongly), but the easy ground may not have helped and these much quicker conditions should be ideal under Hector Crouch.
