There are three meetings in Britain and Ireland on Monday, with NH fans in for an interesting afternoon on improving ground. They have Musselburgh and Plumpton to get stuck into on eased decent ground, with some decent handicaps to solve at the Sussex venue in particular alongside a few potential plots from the astute Gary Moore yard. AW fans have low grade competitive action under the lights at Wolverhampton to study, with the action getting underway at 5.30pm.

Jane Williams now has her team firing in the winners, and her progressive novice impressed when making a winning reappearance/chase debut at Warwick in November (well backed and always travelling best up on a strong gallop in the soft ground). He remains open to plenty more improvement after just six career starts, and can defy a new mark here under Grade 1 winning jockey David Noonan.

Sarah Humphrey’s handicapper has dropped down the weights quickly after two runs so far this winter, and should now be fully fit with Daryl Jacob an eyecatching booking for the yard. He was formerly a pretty useful winning hurdler for Paul Nicholls, and can take advantage of what looks a very weak contest at Plumpton on Monday.
