They have Ayr and Plumpton to get stuck into on eased decent ground, with some decent handicaps to solve at the Sussex venue in particular (alongside a few potentially useful novices from the local Gary Moore yard). AW fans have a tricky evening card under lights at Wolverhampton to get stuck into, with the action getting underway at 5.30pm.

Sam Thomas has made a terrific start to the jumpstart season proper in recent weeks, and his consistent young chaser has been found a terrific opening at Plumpton on Monday. He remains a maiden after five runs over fences, but posted a career best effort when third at Stratford last time out and should be hard to beat in this slightly easier company (with the promising Dylan Johnston taking off a very handy 7lb).
