There are three scheduled meetings in Britain and Ireland on Monday, with NH fans in for an informative afternoon. They have Ayr and Southwell to study on drying eased ground, with some decent handicaps to try to solve at the Sussex venue. AW fans have decent grade action to study at Wolverhampton, with the lights coming on at 5.30pm and the handicaps looking especially competitive for the time of year.

Plumpton 3.20 (UK time)
Lawney Hill’s unexposed chaser impressed when making a winning reappearance/chasing debut at Leicester in November, swooping from well off the pace having warmed to his task in the jumping department through the race. He has had excuses twice since (including when getting too far back at Cheltenham), and has the valuable assistance of the talented amateur rider Izzie Marshall in a very winnable looking handicap.
Odds: 7.0

Plumpton 2.50 (UK time)
Gary Moore’s maiden has been brought along with handicaps in mind over hurdles this winter, and caught the eye last time out at Plumpton when finishing a never-dangerous fourth behind the impressive Good Lord. He remains open to plenty more improvement after just four runs over timber, and has been found a terrific opening back at Plumpton on Monday under David Noonan (with this mark on the lenient side).Odds correct as at 1am February 26th, 2024. Odds may now differ.
Odds: 4.0
