Monday’s Horse Racing Tips: Plumpton, March 13th

Today’s Horse Racing Tips – March 13th
There are four race meetings in Britain on Monday on Cheltenham eve, with competitive jumps action from Plumpton, Stratford and Taunton likely to attract the majority of the punters cash. The welcome heavy rain throughout the latter part of last week has eased the ground conditions significantly across the country, and that has certainly helped with field sizes. For all-weather fans there is an evening meeting at Wolverhampton, with the lights coming on at 5.30pm.

Goodwin Racing
Plumpton 1:50 (UK time)
Chris Gordon’s 6-y-o made a promising start over hurdles at this track over 2m5f (racing freely initially restrained out wide in rear), and duly improved to get off the mark under a more positive ride at Fontwell last time out. He remains open to plenty more improvement for his excellent yard, and is strongly fancied to defy a penalty under the excellent 7lb claimer Freddie Gordon.

Plumpton 3:00 (UK time)
Gary Moore has a brilliant record at his local track, and his unexposed 5-y-o has run with credit in defeat twice since arriving from France. He should relish this sharp left handed track with Jamie Moore taking over in the saddle for the first time, and a positive front-running ride is always a good plan of attack round Plumpton on decent ground.
Odds: NA
