Time Track Selection Analysis
13:25 CHELTENHAM GLADIATEUR ALLEN Jane Williams scopey sort impressed when making a winning chasing debut at Exeter at the start of December, and jumped left throughout when only fourth at Ascot 15 days ago. This left handed track on soft ground should be ideal, and he remains with plenty of potential over the larger obstacles
13:40 MUSSELBURGH KAVANAGHS CROSS Iain Jardine’s frustrating performer finally got off the mark over hurdles at the tenth attempt at Kelso last month, and is expected to defy a weights rise at Musselburgh on Saturday.
14:00 CHELTENHAM ALNADAM Dan Skelton’s chaser needed the run when last of four on his Haydock reappearance, but will be a lot sharper now and has optimum conditions to go close at Cheltenham on Saturday.
14:10 MUSSELBURGH CHRISTOPHER WOOD Paul Nicholls 7-y-o has shaped better than the bare result on three occasions so far this season, and a return to Musselburgh and the booking of the talented claimer Angus Cheleda can see him get back in the winning groove.
14:35 CHELTENHAM KANSAS CITY CHIEF Neil Mulholland’s handicapper has struck up a real affinity with Miss Victoria Malzand round this tricky undulating track, and he is fancied to notch win number three over course and distance despite a career high mark.
14:50 MUSSELBURGH AMOIR DE NUIT Paul Nicholls 10-y-o has run two cracking races in defeat at Chepstow and Newbury already this winter, and he can take advantage of a drop in class under Bryony Frost.
15:10 CHELTENHAM MCFABULOUS Paul Nicholls useful hurdler has soft ground to suit for his seasonal reappearance, and seems sure to be fully fit and primed for this valuable Grade 2 after 268 days on the sidelines.
