5:40	Ascot	Palace Green	Richard Hughes unexposed performer shaped nicely on his handicap debut at York last month, and remains open to plenty more improvement after just four career starts on the turf (with Oisin Murphy an eyecatching booking for these astute connections).
6:15	Ascot	Grand Providence	Andrew Balding’s thorough stayer needs properly quick ground to be seen at her very best, and the recent dry spell has come just at the right time for her chances of landing this valuable marathon prize. She shaped really well when fifth in the Chester Cup last month, doing too much too soon mid-race and fading late, and more patient tactics are likely here with Oisin Murphy taking over in the saddle.
