There are four meetings in Britain and Ireland on Sunday, with NH fans in for a very busy afternoon of varied jumping action. They have Chepstow, Down Royal, Huntingdon and Wexford to study on generally soft ground, with some decent handicaps to try to solve at the Welsh venue (and local trainer Evan Williams sure to be well represented in the handicaps especially).
In this article:
Bertie Wooster
Chepstow 2.25 (UK time)
Joe Tizzard’s frustrating handicapper often shapes as though ahead of his mark, travelling strongly but not always delivering at the business end of his races. He has a good make up for a patient ride from Freddie Gingell here on soft ground (dropping back into a maiden hurdle), with a couple of confirmed frontrunners in the line up to set things up ideally for him to pounce after the last.
Odds: 3.50
Endless Escape
Chepstow 3.00 (UK time)
Ben Clarke does really well with limited ammunition every season, and his consistent mare has been found an excellent opportunity at Chepstow on Sunday. She remains open to plenty of improvement for her excellent yard, and a positive ride from the front by Joe Anderson should make her hard to pass up the straight.
Odds: 6.00
