There are 3 meetings in Britain on Sunday, with Goodwood’s last meeting of the season the highlight in terms of quality and competitiveness. Southwell stage a supporting all-weather
fixture, while for jumping fans there is low grade action from Ffos Las (where the recent rain will certainly help the field size numbers now the ground has eased).

Spanish Star
Goodwood 3:00 (UK time)
Patrick Chamings sprinter has been running to a consistent level in defeat for most of the summer, and he could be worth chancing at Goodwood on Sunday with Tom Marquand taking
over in the saddle. He usually gets outpaced before running on all too late, and that was certainly the case last time out at Salisbury when he charged home from well off the pace. A strong pace up front should help matters here, and he should go close if seeing any daylight in the closing stages.
Odds: NA
Eminency
Goodwood 3:35 (UK time)
Clive Cox’s juvenile could be on a lenient opening handicap mark now making his debut in nurseries, and he certainly shaped well when fifth in a very strong Doncaster conditions stakes last time out behind Cold Case. A bit of cut in the ground proved no issue there, and he remains with plenty of scope to improve after just three career starts (Windsor win in July has worked out well).
Odds: NA
Odds are best odds available as at 2am October 9th. Odds may now differ.
