A relatively quiet Sunday of racing in the UK, with just three meetings and the highlight coming as the popular Sky Bet Sunday series continues at Haydock. There are no less than six handicaps on the seven race card, with decent prize money meaning there should be some really competitive action on the prevailing fast ground.
Elsewhere, big family crowds will be expected at both Windsor and Leicester, with the weather forecast set fair and the school holidays in full flow.

Heatherdown Hero
Leicester 2:50 (UK time)
Michael Bell’s 3-y-o has proved difficult to place in a couple of handicaps so far this summer, but has shaped better than the bare result at Yarmouth and Windsor in much stronger company than this modest claimer. He possibly did not stay 1m2f last time, and saw no daylight at all having been well backed previously, so this really does look a terrific opening back at a mile under the promising Dylan Hogan.
Odds: NA
Musical Mystery
Leicester 2:50 (UK time)
Ali Stronge’s sprinter remains with upside in handicaps after just six career starts, and dropped a big hint he was poised to strike when just denied at Windsor 48 days ago. The expected fast ground at Leicester on Sunday should suit ideally, and he comes here freshened up after a break from that narrow defeat (with Ray Dawson taking over in the saddle for the first time).
Odds: NA
