There are three scheduled meetings in Britain and Ireland on Sunday, with flat fans in for an informative afternoon as the Guineas meeting draws to a close at HQ and the fillies take centre stage at 3.40pm. They also have Hamilton and Salisbury to study on drying ground, with some tough handicaps to try to solve at the Scottish venue (and Jim Goldie sure to be well represented at a track he does very well at).

Fallen Angel
Newmarket 3.40 (UK time)
Karl Burke has a fantastic team of young horses in the yard this season, and his progressive filly has been targeted at this valuable Group 1 prize since her sparkling 2-y-o campaign last year. She really impressed when winning at the Curragh on her final start in September, quickening clear smarty over seven furlongs, and this step up to a mile on faster ground should suit ideally under Danny Tudhope.
Odds: 4.00
Berkshire Rocco
Newmarket 3.00 (UK time)
Andrew Balding has his huge team in excellent order as usual, with six winners in the last fortnight, and his quirky stayer has optimum conditions under Oisin Murphy to make a winning reappearance at Newmarket on Sunday. A big field on fast ground should ensure his proven stamina comes into play late, and the handicapper has cut him a bit of slack by easing his mark down to 96 (competitive in the low 100s last summer in warm company).
Odds: 11.00
