There are four scheduled meetings in Britain and Ireland on Sunday, with flat fans in for a varied afternoon. They have Curragh and Wolverhampton (AW) to study, with some high class action to try to solve at the former venue (and the top Irish yards sure to be well represented in the traditionally strong novice/maiden contests). Jumping fans have big fields to attack at Cartmel and Uttoxeter, with big summer holiday family crowds assured at the popular Cunbrian venue.
In this article:
Fidelius
Wolverhampton 1.35 (UK time)
Robert Cowell has a terrific record in the sprinting division, and his consistent 3-y-o has been found a good opening on the all-weather at Wolverhampton on Sunday (two promising runs here previously). He dwelt leaving the stalls when only fourth at Windsor last time out, still shaping as though in top form, and remains unexposed in this sphere.
Odds: 3.50
Bradman
Wolverhampton 2.10 (UK time)
Charlie Fellowes traditionally gets going now the summer has finally arrived (two well backed winners in the last fortnight), and his modest handicapper has run two cracking races in defeat on the all-weather already this season. A positive ride will be needed now switched to this sharp all-weather venue (very much a staying type rather than one who possesses a change of gear), but the right man is on top in George Wood and this is a very poor race for the grade.
Odds: 4.00
