There are three meetings in Britain and Ireland on a busy and varied Sunday, with competitive flat racing dominating from The Curragh and York. Four Group 1s light up a fantastic card at the premier Irish track, with the St Leger at 4.35pm very much the highlight. Jumps fans have Fontwell to get stuck into, although the prevailing fast ground is likely to make the field sizes small.

Simon and Ed Crisford’s unexposed performer shaped well when third on the all-weather at Newcastle last time out, and remains on an attractive mark at York on Sunday. He remains open to plenty of improvement after just three career starts on the turf, and the drying fast ground expected should suit ideally given how strongly he travels on the bridle (with William Buick an eyecatching booking).
