Christopher Mason’s unexposed 4-y-o had been shaping as through well capable off this kind of mark until failing to stay seven furlongs at Ffos Las last time out (well backed), and the drop back to six furlongs can see him back in the winners enclosure. He has the excellent assistance of the 5lb claimer Gina Mangan, and a more patient ride can see him pounce late at Brighton on Thursday (went off hard from the front when disappointing).
