There are seven scheduled meetings in Britain and Ireland on Thursday, with NH fans in for an informative afternoon. They have Huntingdon, Stratford and Tipperary to study on decent ground, with some decent handicaps to try to solve at the Midlands venue (and Dan Skelton sure to be well represented). Flat fans have high quality action to study at Chester as the May meeting continues on drying ground, while there are supporting cards through to the evening at Brighton, Chelmsford (AW), Gowran Park and Kempton (AW).

Never So Brave
Chester 2.35 (UK time)
Sir Michael Stoute’s unexposed 3-y-o landed hefty market support when shedding his maiden tag at Thirsk in April on testing ground (despite pulling hard to halfway under Saffie Osborne), and looks on an attractive opening handicap mark now with the scope to improve dramatically as he settles down in the early stages of his races. The booking of Ryan Moore for the first time certainly increases confidence, and most of these rivals lack his potential or are likely to need the run after a break.

Radio Goo Goo
Chester 1.30 (UK time)
A lot of Dave Evans horses are well handicapped after a very quiet time of things over the winter months on the all-weather, but recent signs are more encouraging (three winners in the last fortnight), and this pacey sprinter could be worth chancing at Chester on Thursday. She could be at a fitness advantage over some of these rivals, with both previous visits to this track (over six furlongs) producing impressive victories from higher handicap marks.
Odds: 8.00
