There are now just four scheduled meetings in Britain and Ireland on Thursday (weather permitting), with competitive jumps racing from Fairyhouse and Wincanton posing some difficult challenges for punters on the very testing ground (both subject to inspections in the morning). All-weather fans have the cards at Kempton and Wolverhampton to get stuck into, with the lights coming on at the Sunbury venue at 5.30pm for a good quality looking fixture.
In this article:
Pysanka
Wolverhampton 2:30 (UK time)
David Loughnane has enjoyed a terrific winter on the all-weather, with the partnership with his son Billy proving very profitable. The 7lb claimer is booked on this unexposed 4-y-o, who caught the eye at Lingfield last time out and should relish the extended mile trip now into handicaps for the first time.
Odds: NA
Dundory
Wolverhampton 3:05 (UK time)
John O’Shea’s consistent handicapper shaped well in defeat under a negative ride last time out at Kempton, and has run very well over this course and distance in the past. A more positive ride will be required from Gina Mangan dropping back in trip, but this looks a weak class 5 and he had been running well in better company on the turf through the summer.
Odds: NA
