There are 4 meetings in Britain on Thursday, with jumping action from Fakenham and Wincanton providing some competitive action on decent eased ground. For all-weather fans, there are fixtures at Chelmsford and Southwell, with the floodlights coming on at 5.30pm at the Essex venue.

Killaloan
Wincanton 2:00 (UK time)
Paul Nicholls dominates proceedings at his local track, and his unexposed novice caught the eye in a warm contest at Plumpton on his hurdling debut in December. He stayed on from well off the pace there to take a closing third, and both the front pair have run very well in defeat since. Harry Cobden is likely to be a lot more positive this time with the experience under his belt, and he can improve past these rivals (plenty of whom are likely to be ridden with an eye on the future).

Wincanton 3:00 (UK time)
Robert Walford has enjoyed an excellent winter so far, and his progressive staying chaser is worth forgiving a disappointing effort at Newbury in December (possibly finding the ground too testing under a negative ride). He had looked one to follow when gamely winning on good to soft at Fontwell previously, and will definitely appreciate the drying ground conditions expected at Wincanton on Thursday (with the talented 3lb claimer Harry Kimber a good booking).
Odds: NA
