There are two meetings in the UK on Sunday, with jump action from Fontwell and Sedgefield (rare blank day in Ireland). There
are no less than six handicaps on the Sedgefield card, with the big betting race likely to be the 3m2f handicap chase at 3.30pm.

Hughie Morrison’s maiden hurdler has caught two tartars over timber so far, finishing second to Hermes Boy in December at Exeter and filling the same spot behind the hight class Dubrovnik Harry on New Years Day at that venue. He will relish the decent ground expected at Fontwell on Sunday (quite a freegoing sort who needs settling and posted his best bumper effort on fast ground), and the promising 7lb claimer Nathan Brennan knows him very well.

Nigel Twiston-Davies handicapper has been very highly tried this winter in warm company, shaping really well in the Becher chase at Aintree one run back. He ran a lot better than the bare result at Ascot last time under a negative ride, and this represents quite a dramatic drop down in class with ground conditions to suit.
