A busy day of action in Britain and Ireland on Thursday, with 5 meetings scheduled and four of them National Hunt fixtures. There is also a twilight meeting on the polytrack surface at Chelmsford in the evening (first race at 4.00pm). Wincanton stages the main UK card, with the Silver Buck Handicap Chase at 2.15pm sure to attract some useful stayers over the 3m1f trip.

A more positive ride at this sharp right handed track should be ideal, and the booking of top amateur William Biddick increases confidence that he can return to his very best form.
