Dan Skelton’s novice impressed when getting off the mark over hurdles at Uttoxeter in December, reveling in the testing conditions to power clear of Full of Light up the straight (runner-up has franked the form by winning since). The forecast rain is very much in his favour at Lingfield on Tuesday, and he is confidently expected to defy a penalty under Harry Skelton.
