There are four race meetings in Britain and Ireland on Wednesday , with competitive jumps cards at Catterick and Wincanton sure to attract the bulk of betting interest. All-weather fans can attack the afternoon card at Lingfield, with a twilight meeting at Kempton to follow under lights from 4.30pm.

Paul Nicholls dual winning hurdler has shaped really well on both runs so far over fences, going off hard on a contested pace when fourth last time out at Kempton in a fair handicap. He will take plenty of catching round this sharp right handed track on drying ground, with his jumping gaining slickness and Harry Cobden sure to be very positive from the tape in this small field.

Chris Gordon’s scopey type relished a step up to this 2m4f trip when winning a match at Plumpton last month, and remains open to plenty of improvement over fences after just two career starts over the larger obstacles. He needs decent ground to be at his best (good ground bumper winner at this track in the past), and the test of speed round here should be ideal with the yard
going really well.
