There are 5 meetings in Britain on Tuesday, with turf action dominating from Carlisle, Chepstow, Epsom and Ripon throughout the afternoon and evening. For NH fans there is a cracking card at Newton Abbot starting at 4.30pm, where plenty of water will have been put down to take the jar out of the ground and a big holiday crowd will be expected as usual.

Mark Johnston’s 2-y-o shaped a lot better than the bare result on his nursery debut at Chester last time out, never landing a blow under a negative ride on ground that was softer than ideal. He remains with upside after just four career starts, and the faster surface at Epsom on Tuesday is expected to suit ideally.

She now has a new mark to defy, but the excellent Harry Davies takes off an invaluable 3lb and this looks a very weak class 5 contest (getting well over a stone from her two realistic form dangers).
