There are four scheduled meetings in Britain and Ireland on a quiet, low grade Tuesday, with flat fans having cards from Catterick, Chelmsford (AW), and Ffos Las to get stuck into. Jumping fans have an evening card at Roscommon, with the action getting underway at 5.30pm.

Port Noir
Ffos Las 4:15 (UK time)
Robert Stephens battle-hardened eight time winner served notice when well backed here last time out over six furlongs, running on strongly having soon been poorly positioned after a slow break. The step back up in trip to seven furlongs should suit ideally from this basement mark, and she seems sure to go very close under David Probert (if seeing any daylight in the closing stages of this lowly Class 6 contest).
Odds: 6.00
Salamanca Lad
Ffos Las 4.50 (UK time)
Daniel and Claire Kubler have done really well with their recruit from Richard Fahey, and he can defy the handicapper again by winning again at Ffos Las on Tuesday. He landed hefty confidence last time out at Sandown, showing a terrific attitude from the front having been hard pressed all the way up the straight, and this drying ground should suit ideally under Jim Crowley.
Odds: 3.50
