Tuesday’s Horse Racing Tips: Huntingdon, March 28th

Today’s Horse Racing Tips – March 28th
There are three meetings in the UK on Tuesday, with low grade jumps action from Hexham and Huntingdon sure to attract the bulk of the betting interest. All-weather fans have the evening card at Wolverhampton to study, with the lights coming on at 5.30pm and modest handicaps the order of the day.

Drop Him In
Huntingdon 1:30 (UK time)
Olly Murphy has his team in blistering form at the moment, and his unexposed young chaser went into the notebook under a negative ride at Fontwell last time out (never landed a blow in a fast run race on good ground but not knocked about at any stage). He should relish this increased test of stamina over nearly three miles, and a more attacking ride is on the cards from Sean Bowen.

Huntingdon 2:30 (UK time)
Sam Allwood’s handicapper has only won 1 of his 11 career starts over fences so far, but he has been shaping well in slightly better company all winter and this looks a very good opening under regular rider Charlie Todd. The drop back from three miles to 2m4f should be no issue at all in what seems sure to be a strongly run race, and he can assert in the closing stages if cutting out the occasional jumping error that often halts his progress.
Odds: NA
