He remains with the scope to progress further this summer after just six career starts so far, and his turn of foot should be an asset in this small field on decent eased ground.

This mile track on decent ground looks his optimum conditions, and he is up against rivals who have plenty to prove at the moment.
3:05	Ascot	Al Qudra	Charlie Appleby has a very strong hand as usual in the juvenile division, and it looks significant that he has targeted this valuable prize with his improving 2-y-o.
3:45	Ascot	Regional	Ed Bethell is a young trainer to follow over the next few seasons, and his sprinter posted a cracking effort in defeat on his seasonal reappearance last month at the Curragh behind Mitbaahy (rider lost an iron leaving the stalls and duelled on a strong pace throughout). He has plenty of pace to aim at here, and Callum Rodriguez will be looking to weave his way through late.

5:40	Ascot	Astro King	Daniel and Claire Kubler do extremely well with limited resources every season, and their battle-hardened 7-y-o seems sure to give his running again in this competitive listed prize.
6:15	Ascot	Bague D’or	James Ferguson’s useful handicapper has been kept fresh for the Royal meeting since making a winning seasonal reappearance 44 days ago, and he has already shown a likeness for this course and distance with his previous trainer Chris Wall (now retired).
