There are five scheduled meetings in Britain and Ireland on Tuesday, with NH fans in for an informative afternoon of top class action as the 5-day Punchestown festival gets underway. Flat fans have Brighton, Catterick, Nottingham and Yarmouth to study on rain-eased ground, with some decent handicaps to try to solve at the Suffolk venue (and the top Newmarket yards sure to be well represented as usual).
In this article:
Gordon Grey
Yarmouth 2.10 (UK time)
Ben Brookhouse is very much a young trainer to follow this season, and his recent arrival from Ian Williams improved to finish second over this course and distance earlier in the month (travelled very strongly under a confident ride). He returns Yarmouth on Tuesday from a slightly reduced mark, with the fast ground expected to suit ideally and none of these rivals having his potential to improve.
Odds: 3.50
Dreamrocker
Yarmouth 4.25 (UK time)
Ed Walker has his team in sparkling form as the turf season kicks up a gear (six winners in the last fortnight at a 25pc strike rate), and his unexposed filly looks one to follow up the grades over the next few months. She starts off into handicaps from an attractive opening mark (partly because of a disappointing run on the AW at Chelmsford in October), and the booking of Saffie Osborne suggests she will be fully primed after 199 days on the sidelines.
Odds: 6.00
