There are six meetings in Britain and Ireland on Wednesday, with NH fans in for a busy afternoon. They have Exeter, Hexham and Leicester to get stuck into on very deep ground, with some decent handicaps to solve at the West Country venue. AW fans have low grade action across three tracks to study, with Dundalk, Kempton and Lingfield all racing through to the evening.
In this article:
Tidal Storm
Exeter 2:20 (UK time)
Harry Derham’s unexposed novice failed to land an inspired touch on handicap debut at Wincanton last month on soft ground, but may have found that track too sharp at two miles (outpaced throughout and never really travelled). He remains open to plenty more improvement now in this sphere after just two runs for this up-and-coming yard, and more testing ground conditions upped to this trip should suit under the red hot Paul O’Brien.
Odds: NA
Stormy Flight
Exeter 1:50 (UK time)
Jeremy Scott’s 9-y-o handicapper has been easing down the weights as he runs himself fit this winter (at a time when the yard has largely been quiet), and he has been found an excellent opening at Exeter on Wednesday under Rex Dingle. He has won 1 from 9 over fences so far, and this intermediate 2m3f should suit ideally on soft ground that he handles.
Odds: NA
