There are five meetings in Britain and Ireland on Thursday, with Dundalk (AW), Kempton (AW), Lingfield (AW) and Nottingham providing some competitive action to keep bookmakers and punters busy in the evening. Jumps fans have Fakenham to get stuck into on testing ground, with some competitive action from the popular Norfolk venue getting their season underway (first scheduled meeting lost to waterlogging).

Jamie Snowden’s novice chaser impressed when overcoming adversity to make a winning chasing debut at Huntingdon last month, making a few jumping errors but finding strongly for pressure to assert after the last. He should sharpen up for that initial experience, and can defy the handicapper here under a positive ride from Gavin Sheehan (with plenty more improvement in the tank after just six runs under Rules).
