There are four meetings in Britain and Ireland on Wednesday, with Dundalk (AW) providing some competitive all-weather action to keep bookmakers and punters busy through to the evening under the lights. Jumping fans have Hereford, Kelso and Wetherby to get stuck into on soft ground, with some decent handicaps to solve across all three tracks.
In this article:
No But I Will
Wetherby 1:50 (UK time)
Oliver Greenall and Josh Guerriro are making a real impact on the jumping game with some cracking novices in particular, and this progressive performer is fancied to make a winning chasing debut at Wetherby on Wednesday. He impressed when winning 1 of his 6 starts over timber last season, and has plenty of size and scope to make an immediate mark over the larger obstacles (with soft ground conditions to suit under Henry Brooke and a run under his belt at Aintree).
Odds: NA
Escapeandevade
Wetherby 3:00 (UK time)
James Ewart’s unexposed chase shaped better than the bare result at Haydock when last seen out in March (harried on a strong pace), and should be able to dominate this small field from the tape under Danny McMenanim. He is a sound jumping strong traveller, who should relish this flat track on soft ground, and a positive front-running ride could soon take these Class 3 rivals out of their comfort zone from an early stage.
Odds: NA
