Cheltenham Gold Cup Tips – Cheltenham Festival 2021
Cheltenham Gold Cup Tips 2021 – Day 4, 15:30
The 2021 renewal of the Cheltenham Gold Cup is eagerly awaited as the best race of the four days, and there is a chance history will be made as Al Boum Photo bids to win a remarkable three Gold Cups in a row. He has little to spare over a clutch of these old rivals and makes no appeal at all at the current price around 4/1. The value may lie elsewhere, and Henry de Bromhead is unusually bullish about the prospects of his rapidly improving A Plus Tard (currently a generous 12/1 chance and reportedly heading straight to Cheltenham fresh and well after his Leopardstown win over Christmas).

Cheltenham Gold Cup Tips
A Plus Tard, Cheltenham Gold Cup Tips Favourite #1 for Stephen Harris
Henry de Bromhead’s progressive 7-y-o is open to far more improvement than most of these more established household names, and he impressed when winning a strongly run Grade 1 Savills Chase at Leopardstown over Christmas. He has winning Cheltenham form in the book over hurdles, and looked a shade unlucky when a well backwed third in the 2020 Ryanair Chase behind Min. This step up to a stamina sapping 3m2f should definitely suit, and the expected soft ground at the Festival will cetainly suit ideally.

Vinndication, Cheltenham Gold Cup Tips Favourite #2 for Stephen Harris
Kim Bailey’s progressive chaser ran a blinder when finishing second to Cyrname in the Charlie Hall on his seasonal reappearance, and was yet to be asked for his effort when unseating at the cross fence at Newbury behind the impressive winner Cloth Cap. He has plenty of scope to keep improving over fences with more experience and the highest level, and makes plenty of each-way appeal at the current prices.
