A class 2 six furlong contest that has had numerous sponsors over the years, always confined to two year old fillies only and one that can throw up a useful prospect or two. RACE 7, WEDNESDAY, JULY 29TH, 4:20 PM
A competitive class 3 handicap over seven furlongs to round off Day 2 at Glorious Goodwood, open to three year olds and upwards competing for £25,000 in prize money. Glorious Goodwood 2020 Day 2 Races
Day 2 at Glorious Goodwood revolves around the Group 1 Sussex Stakes at 3.35pm, with the best milers locking horns for over a million pounds in total prize money. Frankel blitzed the field for memorable wins in 2011 and 2012, and in 2019 the Sussex racegoers were treated to a top class display from John Gosden’s Too Darn Hot. The rest of the card is certainly not short on quality, with four ultra competitive handicaps setting the punters a stern test, and the Group 3 Molecomb Stakes attracting some of the fastest juveniles of the season over five furlongs.
