Liga ACB Teams, Format, and History
Spain Liga ACB follows a typical format used all over Europe. It consists of 18 teams, each playing in a double round-robin format (one game at home and one game away), resulting in 34 games in the regular season for each team.
But the fun does not stop there, as the best eight-ranked teams advance to the playoffs. The first round is a best-out-of-three format series, while the semi-final and the final are played in a best-out-of-five to determine the winner.
Spain Liga ACB also employs a relegation system where the two lowest-ranked teams will be substituted each season by two new ones advancing from the LEB Oro. As far as the 2025/26 season goes, we will be featuring the following teams.
| Team | City |
| Barça | Barcelona |
| Kosner Baskonia | Vitoria-Gasteiz |
| Bàsquet Girona | Girona |
| Baxi Manresa | Manresa |
| Casademont Zaragoza | Zaragoza |
