UFC Fight Night: Cerrone vs Morono Predictions:

Donald Cerrone-Alex Morono
Fulltime
-

Donald Cerrone Style and Form:

Donald Cerrone is truly one of the veterans of the UFC with 53 MMA matches in his career so far. He holds a record of 36 wins and 15 defeats. What’s interesting is that 17 of his wins have come via submission and 10 via knockout, leaving only 9 decisions.

Cowboy joined the UFC in 2011 after competing in the World Extreme Cagefighting organization.

Cerrone quickly became a fan favorite with his style of fighting and spectacular knockouts.

But controversy has followed him throughout his career, and he has been accused multiple times of racism, sexual harassment and homophobic comments. Cerrone has denied all allegations against him and continued to do what he does best – fight.

His background in Muay-Thai has made him a very lethal fighter, and his famous head kicks have made him a very dangerous opponent.

Cerrone also holds a black belt in BJJ, making him a very complete fighter with few weaknesses.

His biggest weakness is that he tends to start fights late. He is usually passive in the early rounds and takes a lot of damage. But when he weathers the storm, Cerrone usually retaliates and performs very well.

He hasn’t won a fight since May 2019, but he is still a very dangerous fighter and should not be underestimated.

Alex Morono Style & Form:

UFC fans everywhere will have to express their gratitude toward Alex Morono for stepping up once again to fight on short notice.

Alex Morono joined the UFC in 2016 and has made a reputation for himself as a versatile and dangerous fighter.

Morono holds an MMA record of 18 wins and 7 losses. Although five of his victories have come via knockout, he doesn’t possess the knockout power to stop someone like Donald Cerrone.

His biggest strength is his wrestling ability. Alex Morono holds a BJJ black belt and can be very dangerous on the ground. But submitting Cowboy is something much easier said than done, and the chances of that happening are slim.

That said, the weight cut for this fight will certainly take a toll on his cardio and open him up for a K/O in the later rounds.

Morono will have to hit the ground running and hope to end the fight early with a heavy shot to the head. Again, this is not an easy task, with Cerrone being very durable.

UFC Fight Night: Cerrone vs Morono Bets

The key factor in this fight will be how well both fighters prepare.

Cerrone has had a full training camp and he has done hard sparring for the first time in a long time. His back is against the wall with his last five fights and he is desperate for a victory in this fight.

On the other hand, Morono is coming off a unanimous decision loss to Anthony Pettis and has taken this fight on short notice. The weight cut and lack of preparation will weaken his cardio and his ability to take damage.

Morono will have to try and end the fight early, but the chances of that are neglectable.

As the fight goes on, Cowboy will gain the upper hand and wear Moreno down with his kicks and punches.

Back Cerrone to win via decision at 2,40 odds.
