This was a real display of Saras’ basketball philosophy with a lot of players contributing without a clear main man on offence. Barcelona are outclassing Zalgiris so far, they scored more points in fastbreaks (18-6) and more points in the paint (38-32) in the first game.
91 points was a bit too high taking into consideration how slow these teams have been playing so far. We believe Barcelona will be able to outrun Zalgiris once again tonight against the spread and make a statement before going to Lithuania. Barca will have no injury issues tonight.
Zalgiris have managed to clinch the last spot in the top 8 and probably this is their maximum for the moment. Furthermore, L. Lekavicius got injured and he will not be able to help his team tonight. Besides him, Zalgiris will be missing K. Evans due to an achilles tendon injury while T. Cavanaugh is out due to a back injury. Zalgiris shot only 2/13 from behind the arc, which is only 15%. The aggressive Barcelona defence on the perimeter does not suit them at all.
