With the Pacers pursuing a Playoff spot, and the Pistons languishing in the depths of the lottery, it’s no surprise to see NBA betting markets heavily favor Indiana for this Central Division contest on Wednesday night. The Pacers have an 82% win probability while the Pistons are listed at 4.20 odds. Our Pistons vs Pacers prediction and betting picks are available in the article below.

Detroit has hit the under in almost 60% of their home games. Indiana might have been a lock to cash the over earlier in the season, but bookies overcompensated midway through the campaign and the Pacers’ games have generally been lower-scoring over the last couple of months.
Indiana has gone under this game total in their last five games to end without overtime. Tyrese Haliburton’s slump has contributed to that, of course, but the Pacers have also made some improvements on the defensive end (17th in defensive rating since the break).
Even with Indiana getting more stops, we love pairing Cade Cunningham’s assists over with the game total under. These two picks might seem contradictory in some ways, but that would be glossing over just how impactful Cunningham is as a creator.
Detroit is lacking other playmakers (the former first-overall pick has a 30.1% usage rate over the last 10 games). Cunningham is clocking 13.3 potential assists per game since All-Star, which is more than James Harden, Darius Garland, and Draymond Green. Cunningham has cleared this line in six of his last seven games – he’s averaging over 14 potential dimes over that span.
