Storm vs Fever Prediction and Picks: 2.25 Wednesday Night Wager
- Seattle Storm moneyline
- Caitlin Clark under 30.5 points, rebounds and assists
Bet Builder Odds: 2.25 (+125)
Odds as of May 22nd, 2024. Odds may now differ.
Indiana has been really poor at both ends overall. They are 11th in rebounding rate, 10th in turnover rate, and only eighth in true shooting. Their offense needs to be much more efficient if they are to compete this season.
Seattle has been poor on offense, too, but they are an excellent rebounding team and have played high-level defense. We expect them to keep Clark relatively quiet – the first-overall pick has only cleared this line in one of her first four games.

Seattle Storm News, Injury Report, Schedule: Strong Defence In First Four Games
Landing Nneka Ogwumike and Skylar Diggins-Smith in the offseason was massive for the Storm. The pair have 14 combined All-Star selections, and bring much-needed star power to the Pacific Northwest.
Ogwumike missed Monday’s game against the New York Liberty, however, and she’s listed as questionable for this contest. After not playing last season due to maternity leave, Diggins-Smith has been inefficient in her first four games and is averaging her lowest points total since 2016.
While Seattle has been poor offensively, they have been excellent at the other end of the floor. Only two teams can better their defensive rating so far.
Indiana Fever News, Injury Report, Schedule: Searching For Balance
It’s been a frustrating start to the season for the Indiana Fever. There are signs of progress, though, with two blowouts to the New York Liberty and Connecticut Sun being followed by two more competitive performances against the same opponents.
This team was always going to lean offense over defense, and it’s no surprise they have leaked points. There have been some better signs of late, however, with Caitlin Clark dropping 22 in her second game against the Liberty, and four starters reaching double digits against the Sun last time out.
Storm vs Fever H2H: Storm Hold Advantage
The Seattle Storm lead the Indiana Fever 30-23 in the all-time regular-season series. These franchises are yet to meet in the postseason.
Before losing two of three to the Fever in 2023, Seattle had not lost a regular-season series to the Fever since 2016. Seattle has a considerable advantage over Indiana across the last few seasons and will look to add to that this week.
