She has been given a real chance by the handicapper (now 10lb lower than a close third behind Miranda in December 2021), and the expected decent eased ground at Newbury on Friday should be ideal under Paul O’Brien.

This bigger field should mean a strong pace which will help him settle in the early stages, and he can assert late under regular rider Aidan Coleman.
