There are five scheduled meetings in Britain and Ireland on Friday, with NH fans in for an informative afternoon. They have Lingfield, Sandown and Sedgefield to study on easy ground, with some decent handicaps to try to solve at the Esher venue (alongside some potentially smart novices from the top southern yards). AW fans have low grade action to study at Dundalk and Wolverhampton, with the lights coming on at 4.30pm and the handicaps looking especially hard to solve for the time of year.

Keep Running
Sandown 2:25 (UK time)
Warren Greatrex’s unexposed young chaser created a deep impression when getting off the mark over fences at Taunton earlier in the month, travelling strongly throughout under a confident ride from the front. He should relish this stiffer test of stamina on softer ground at Sandown on Friday under James Bowen, and there should be plenty more improvement in the tank after just three career starts over the larger obstacles (with the yard in top form).
Odds: NA
Spring Note
Sandown 3:35 (UK time)
Nicky Henderson’s scopey novice (chaser on looks) jumped superbly when landing a gamble at Newbury in December, making all at a brisk pace and in command three out (strong form). That impressive effort meant she has gone up 13lb in one hit, but she is clearly thriving and a step back up in trip should be no issue at all under regular rider James Bowen.
Odds: NA
