James Fanshawe’s 3-y-o filly has run with credit in two handicaps this summer, and will relish a drop back down into maiden company at Brighton on Monday. She remains with some potential to improve after just five career starts, and the stiff uphill finish at this track should suit ideally under a positive ride from Daniel Muscutt.

Tony Carroll has an excellent record at this track over the years, and his consistent sprinter has found a terrific opening here in a modest looking class 5 contest. He has been running himself into form this summer, with two creditable efforts in defeat in May and June at Bath, and can be excused a lesser effort at Chepstow last time out. The useful apprentice Aidan Keeley is booked which is another positive, and the prevailing fast ground should be no issue at all if seeing any daylight in the closing stages up the hill.
