Pauline Robson’s exciting novice looked an extremely smart prospect when routing his rivals over hurdles at Kelso in January, and is fancied to make a winning chasing debut under regular rider Craig Nichol. He will relish the emphasis on stamina around this stiff track on easy ground, and his opening mark looks extremely generous if he can jump fluently at the first time of asking (against rivals with plenty to prove).

Her previous runner-up effort in warm company at Cheltenham sets her apart from these rivals, and Ben Poste can swoop late up the sapping final climb on testing ground.
