There are four meetings in Britain and Ireland on Monday, with Wolverhampton (AW) alone providing some competitive all-weather action to keep bookmakers and punters busy through to the evening under the lights. Jumping fans have Carlisle, Fakenham and Kempton to get stuck into on soft ground, with some really tricky low grade handicaps to solve on three competitive cards.

Ben Case does well with a relatively small team of horses, and his lightly raced 7-y-o is expected to be fully primed to make a winning reappearance at Kempton on Monday. He ran with promise in two of his three starts last season (including over fences), and showed this course and distance suited ideally when winning here in January 2022.

Alan King’s veteran has a losing run stretching back to November 2019, but he is now extremely well handicapped and looked primed to strike when making a promising seasonal reappearance at Wetherby last month. The eased decent ground at this right-handed track over 2m4f should be ideal under regular rider Tom Cannon, and he can travel all over these declining rivals before asserting up the straight.
