Thursday's Horse Racing Tips: Newbury, June 13th

Today’s Horse Racing Tips – June 13th
There are six scheduled meetings in Britain and Ireland on Thursday, with flat fans in for a varied and busy afternoon and evening. They have Leopardstown, Musselburgh, Newbury, Nottingham and Yarmouth to study, with some tough handicaps to try to solve at the Berkshire venue (and the top yards sure to be well represented in the traditionally strong novice/maiden contests). Jumping fans have Worcester in the evening to study, with the field sizes good for the time of year with the ground riding easier after a few showers in the preceding days.

Today’s Daily Nap
Asimov
Newbury 2.50 (UK time)
James Fanshawe has hit top form in the last fortnight with three winners, and his promising maiden handicapper caught the eye at Nottingham last time out. He will come on plenty for that experience, and the first time booking of William Buick certainly increases confidence he can get off the mark at the sixth attempt.
Odds: 7.00
Today’s Value Angle
Zouzanna
Newbury 4.00 (UK time)
Harry Charlton’s useful filly was an eyecatcher at Ascot last time out, repeatedly blocked in up the straight when seemingly travelling strongly on the bridle and then eased when her winning chance had gone inside the final furlong. This flat galloping track is likely to be a lot more suitable, with Oisin Murphy taking over in the saddle and plenty more to come after just eight career starts so far on the turf.
Odds: 6.00
