The ITV cameras are at three tracks on Saturday, with the pick of the action covered at Goodwood, Newmarket and Thirsk. The highlight of the afternoon is undoubtedly the 2000 Guineas at Newmarket at 3.40pm, with Charlie Appleby’s highly regarded Native Trail sure to be a very warm order to maintain his brilliant unbeaten record. Elsewhere, there are some cracking handicaps that are certain to be huge betting heats, with the Thirsk Hunt Cup at 2.05pm an extremely competitive and valuable prize.
