There is some welcome quality on show in the listed fillies stakes at 4.45pm, while the handicaps are sure to very popular betting heats (especially with the excellent prize money on offer). Jumps fans have low grade action at both Hexham and Worcester to get stuck into, with watering sure to be needed at both over the last few days as the dry, warm spell continues

Henry Candy’s useful filly shaped really well after six months off the track when finishing fourth in the Pinnacle Stakes at Haydock last month, and is entitled to strip fitter for that run now with the yard in excellent form. She goes well on fast ground, and the stiff track at Pontefract should bring her proven stamina into play late on under Dane O’Neill.
