There are 6 meetings in Britain and Ireland on Thursday, with the highlight very much the third day of the Punchestown spring festival. There are two Grade 1s on a very competitive card, with the big betting race of the day coming at 5.25pm when the best stayers line up for the Ladbrokes Champion Stayers Hurdle over 3m. Elsewhere, there is flat action from Musselburgh, Lingfield and Redcar through the afternoon, and evening cards at Chelmsford and Chepstow.

He pulled hard wide there and eventually faded out of things over 1m2f, so this drop back to a mile and professional handling is just what is needed to snap a frustrating spell.
