There are 7 race meetings in Britain and Ireland on Thursday, with flat racing dominating and the action coming thick and fast throughout the afternoon and evening. The main card comes from Leopardstown in the evening, with welcome high class Group 3 races at 6.00 and 6.30pm (both over the seven furlong trip). Elsehwhere, there are competitive cards from Doncaster, Newbury, Sandown and Yarmouth on the turf, while NH fans have the cards at Worcester and Limerick to study.

He is a smooth traveller with a smart turn of foot when the cards fall right, and the booking of the championship chasing William Buick very much increases confidence that he can swoop late up the final hill.

He remains with plenty of upside as his stamina is drawn out further,
and can improve past these two rivals under Franke Dettori.
