There are 7 meetings on a busy Thursday in Britain and Ireland, with the action coming thick and fast throughout the afternoon and evening. Flat racing fans have the cards at Bellewstown, Epsom, Haydock, Newbury and Yarmouth. For followers of the jumping game, there are competitive cards at Perth and Tipperary to get stuck into, with Gordon Elliott sure to bring a raiding party to the former track where he has fantastic record.

Martin Todhunter’s tough and consistent mare has won 3 of her 24 races so far, and shaped as though running herself into top form at Chester and York so far this summer (caught the eye last time going well in rear when run checked at a crucial time/finished with running left in the tank under an inexperienced lady amateur). She should now now be spot on from a slightly reduced handicap mark, and the prevailing fast ground expected at Haydock on Thursday will be ideal under David Nolan.
