There are three meetings in the UK on Tuesday, with Newcastle and Sandown proving competitive jumps action through the afternoon. All-weather action comes from Wolverhampton in the evening under lights, with the first race due off at 5.00pm

Lucinda Russell’s hurdler has not had things quite go to plan since making a winning start at Kelso in October, but he remains with plenty of scope to do better and has been found a very weak race at Sandown on Tuesday. He remains with potential as he becomes more settled in the early stages, and this stiffer track will suit his frontrunning tactics (point winner so stamina very much his strong suit at two miles).
