There are three scheduled meetings in Britain and Ireland on Tuesday, with NH fans in for a tricky afternoon of low grade action. They have Catterick and Leicester to study on testing ground, with some tough handicaps to try to solve at the Yorkshire track in particular. AW fans have decent grade action to study at Southwell, with the lights coming on at 5.30pm at the Midlands venue.

Treaty Boy
Catterick 3.20 (UK time)
Stuart Coltherd’s unexposed chaser had been running with promise in defeat all winter over hurdles, and made a smooth transition to chasing over this course and distance last time out (final start for Rebecca Menzies). He is a smooth traveller who needs producing on the bridle after the last by regular rider Sam Coltherd, and this sharp two miles on soft ground should again be ideal (with a couple of frontrunners in the line up sure to make it a true run race).
Odds: 4.0
Prairie Wolf
Catterick 2.50 (UK time)
Sue Smith’s progressive chaser impressed with his jumping when winning a competitive handicap at Doncaster in December, and shaped well when fourth at Cheltenham last time out (very solid form that was franked on Saturday by Blow Your Wad). He remains open to plenty more improvement after just three runs over fences so far, and this represents a marked drop down in class under Nick Scholfield.
Odds: 2.75
